Computer hope is a website that offers free computer help. The website is designed to assist everyone with any computer related question and be the resource to learn more about computers. The website has a list of tabs that can be found on any of the pages. They are labeled Home, Free Help, Contact, Links, Tips, Dictionary and Forums. If the visitor clicks on the “free help” tab he is greeted with four options on how to search for help. The first is by browsing through the website. To facilitate the browsing there is a search tool to search the website for what the visitor may be looking for. If the user is not sure of what he is looking for eight preselected categories are provided; Questions and Answers, Basic Troubleshooting, Companies’ contact information, Hardware listing, Software listing, Dictionary, Drivers, and Computer Hope Tools. The second option in looking for help is to browse the Computer Hope’s forums. To do that, however, on must first create an account and register with Computer Hope. A third option when seeking help on Computer Hope is to use their chat room. The user can chat with a real human for free if an operator is online. A fourth and final option that is given to request help is help via email.
